Phase 1 of maintenance tracking complete

The first phase of maintenance tracking is simple logging of maintenance done. There is a lot more to come in this area. Keep a watch in the feature queue forum for what's coming.

To log maintenance on an aircraft go to the aircraft menu:

Then select the aircraft you want to want to "maintain" and click the wrench and driver icon:

After that it works just like the other features you already know how to use, and you end up with this:

I'm getting a Database error when trying to add a new maintenance record

I'm going to guess you are entering a dollar sign in the cost field. It can only handle a number like 12.50 not $12.50. I'll add that to the bug list.

Well, I did that first, then left it blank, then entered an integer...that worked.
