Hey, all. I'm the new kid on the block.

How do I get to the "special interface for mobile access" mentioned on the Welcome page? Even though my iPhone has a full web browser, I'd still prefer a simplified interface.

Edit: Never mind. I just found out from a post on HeliFreak that the feature is not implemented yet.

Well it is and it isn't. ;)

I've tried to make the standard interface "play" well with mobile devices, which it does a fair job of. But, I'm also working on a smaller, cleaner way to enter data on a mobile.

Is this feature ultimately supposed to work on any mobile web device, or just "smart phones"?

It should work with any phone capable of web browsing.

I just released the new mobile entry screen. As always, let me know your thoughts.

Nope, I keep getting redirected to the log in screen anytime I click on the Flights link. I log in, then have to hit "redirect if your browser is stupid", then I get to the home page. Clicking the Flights link takes me back to log in again. Doesn't matter if I click remember me or not.

Verizon EnvyII with std Verizon Mobile Web. I think this operation is too dependent on cookies that the average web-enabled phone doesn't work with.

Oh well, it would have been cool!

I can get around that. Remind me to have a look at your phone next time we meet up.

gregt,
I can't get the MAH entry to work on my Iphone. Are there any tricks? I pull up the flight screen in Safari and click on the mobile icon which works fine, I can enter a new flight with no problem but when I select Mah entry it pulls up the list that have 0 for entries but I can't click on the zero to get it to edit. I love everything on this site, if I could just do the mah entry on my phone while standing at my charger it would be great!

I'll take a look this evening and see if I have the same problem. It worked the last time I used it...

It's working fine for me. Can you duplicate it and send me a screen shot? You can take screen shots on your iPhone by pressing the home and power buttons at the same time. A photo with the screenshot is then placed in your pictures app, where you can email it.

Thanks!

I got it to work! My bad. I went into my iphone settings for Safari and the Java script was turned "off", I don't know why. Turned it on and all is well, thanks. Maybe the default for the Iphone is "off", don't know. If anyone else has this problem, check ur settings. Not sure why it let me enter flight data etc. but just not the mah entry without that setting to "on". Thanks again, love the site, donation on the way.

Very appreciated, thank you.

The flight entry doesn't "require" javascript, so that makes sense.
